Pack AI ships every design as a vector PDF, native Adobe Illustrator (.ai), SVG, PNG, or JPEG — at 300 DPI by default, with the page sized to match the box's real-world dimensions.

Five formats, one source of truth

Different printers want different files. Some ask for print-ready PDF, some want a native Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file with editable paths, others are happy with SVG or a rasterized PNG proof. Pack AI builds one composite design and exports the same artwork into any of the five formats with one click — no re-aligning, no panel drift.

SVG — vector, self-contained

The most portable vector format. Opens in any browser, Illustrator, Inkscape, Affinity Designer, Figma. User images are embedded as data URLs so the file has no missing assets. Use SVG for web previews, sharing with collaborators, or as a canonical source you re-export from later.

PDF — the standard print delivery format

Vector PDF rendered at 300 DPI, page sized in points to match the box's physical dimensions (so a 75×75×25 mm dieline produces a PDF whose page is exactly that size in real life). Most print shops will accept this directly.

AI — Adobe Illustrator native

Modern .ai files are PDF-compatible, so Illustrator opens our vector PDF as editable paths. Use this when your printer wants the layered Illustrator file or when you need to hand-tweak typography in Adobe before sending to print.

PNG and JPEG — raster proofs

For client previews, social posts, or e-commerce mockups, rasterize at 300 DPI as a transparent PNG or a smaller JPEG with a white matte. Same composite, different output.

What's included in every export

  • The original dieline (cut + fold lines)
  • Per-panel background colors
  • Whole-dieline background image, clipped per panel
  • All text, image, and shape layers — including rotation
  • Gradient and image-pattern fills on shapes (preserved as native SVG/PDF primitives)
